Frequently asked questions
Why do description bytes differ from characters?
UTF-8 uses multiple bytes for many accented characters, non-Latin characters and emoji. The description limit is measured in bytes, so this tool shows both counts.
Will this publish or improve my video ranking?
No. It checks text length in your browser. It does not access your YouTube account, publish anything or predict search rankings.
