How to use it
- Paste the script you plan to read.
- Choose a speaking speed between 50 and 300 words per minute.
- Use the estimated duration to adjust your script, then time a rehearsal.
What to expect
The initial estimate uses 150 words per minute. Speaking pace, pauses, language and delivery change the actual duration. This is a planning estimate, not a measurement of recorded audio.
Frequently asked questions
How is speaking time estimated?
The word count is divided by your selected words per minute and converted to seconds. Punctuation and emoji alone do not count as words.
Does the timer record my voice?
No. It uses the text you paste and your speaking-speed setting. There is no microphone access, upload or credit charge.
