FREE CREDITS · NO CREDIT CARD REQUIRED
Instagram Post & Reel Stats Checker
Read the available likes, comment counts and metadata for a public post or reel.
Checking your credit balance…
How it works
- Paste the full URL of one public Instagram post or reel, using its /p/ or /reel/ link.
- Choose Get post stats. Sign up or sign in when prompted; your input is preserved.
- After account setup, choose Get post stats again to run the request. Review the returned engagement counts and post metadata. Download the snapshot as CSV or copy the complete JSON.
Free allowance and limits
20 free credits per calendar month (UTC). No credit card required. Tools, REST and MCP share your project credit balance. There is no separate monthly request-attempt allowance. Failed processing uses no credits. Operational rate and concurrency limits apply.
This tool uses 1 credit for a successful request. No credit card is required to start. Requests run only when you choose the action; signing in does not automatically spend credits.
What to expect
This retrieves metrics and available metadata for one item. Comment text and video downloads are not included; view counts may be unavailable.
Public source data can change, and responses may be cached. Use only content you are permitted to access and process.
Frequently asked questions
Can I check both Instagram posts and reels?
Yes. Submit a public post or reel URL. Use the profile lookup tool instead if you want account-level information.
Which Instagram engagement statistics are available?
The response contains available likes, comment counts and item metadata. View counts and other fields can be unavailable; missing fields do not mean zero engagement.
Can I download the comments on an Instagram post?
Use the Instagram comments viewer to read and export available comment text. This stats checker returns the comment count.
Are the post statistics a live analytics feed?
No. Each request returns an available snapshot and responses may be cached. Public counts can change; this tool does not provide ongoing monitoring or historical analytics.
