FREE CREDITS · NO CREDIT CARD REQUIRED

Free Facebook Comments Viewer & Export

Read available comments on a public Facebook post and export them as CSV or JSON.

Checking your credit balance…

1 credit per successful request, up to 20 items. Failed processing uses no credits.

A free account is required to run this tool. No credit card required. We’ll keep your input while you sign up or sign in.

How it works

  1. Paste the URL of a public Facebook post, reel or video. Sign in and choose View comments to run the request.
  2. Choose View comments. Sign up or sign in when prompted; your input is preserved.
  3. After account setup, choose View comments again to run the request. Read up to 20 available comments and the collection status. Download CSV or JSON from the current result without another request.

Free allowance and limits

20 free credits per calendar month (UTC). No credit card required. Tools, REST and MCP share your project credit balance. There is no separate monthly request-attempt allowance. Failed processing uses no credits. Operational rate and concurrency limits apply.

This tool uses 1 credit for a successful request of up to 20 items. No credit card is required to start. Requests run only when you choose the action; signing in does not automatically spend credits.

What to expect

This viewer requests up to 20 comments in one batch for 1 credit on success, including a verified empty result. Collection can be partial and does not include every reply or hidden comment. Use the API cursor for further pages.

Public source data can change, and responses may be cached. Use only content you are permitted to access and process.

Is that the guy from Stranger Things?

The CSV also keeps the source URL, comment ID, available author fields and timestamp. Unknown counts are empty cells; reported zero stays 0. Numeric IDs have a protective apostrophe so spreadsheets keep every digit. The JSON excerpt keeps IDs as strings and unknown counts as null; pagination cursors are omitted from this example.

These saved examples use no credits. Follow the Facebook CSV and Excel tutorial to export an available batch from your own public post.

Frequently asked questions

Does this viewer collect every comment?

No. The viewer requests one batch of up to 20 comments. Hidden comments, replies and source restrictions can limit coverage. Exhausted means available pagination ended, not complete coverage.

How much does viewing comments cost?

This viewer uses 1 credit per successful request, including a verified empty result. Failed processing uses no credits. CSV and JSON downloads of that result use no additional credits.

Can I request more comments?

Use the REST API or MCP tool with a limit from 1 to 100. Continue with the returned cursor for the same post when hasMore is true. Each successful request is billed separately.

Can I view private or restricted comments?

The viewer uses available public content and does not bypass access restrictions. A post visible in your signed-in browser may still be unavailable to FetchFox.

Use it in your own workflow
